It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Rogers of Cascade, Iowa, born in Ottumwa, Iowa, who passed away on March 12, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Winifred Fisher and Hazel Fisher (Moody); her husband Howard Charles Rogers; her son Kevin Rogers; her daughter-in-law Tien Rogers; her grandson Jared Rogers; and her siblings-in-law, Leo Rogers, Patricia Rogers and Annabelle Cigrand (Jim).
She is survived by: her children, Bernadette Rogers Alma, Sean Merchlewitz and Michael Rogers (Alice) of Cascade; her grandchildren, Kevin, Emma, Caleb, Jonathan and Charlotte; her stepgrandchildren, Jana Haynes (Kellen), Jacob Merchlewitz (Sarah), Josh Merchlewitz and Nikki Merchlewitz; her siblings, Carl Fisher, Tom Fisher of Ottumwa, IA and Andrea Dalbey of Ottumwa, IA; and her sister-in-law Jane Rogers of Dubuque, IA. She is also survived by seven step-great grandchildren.
A Carolyn M. Rogers memorial fund has been established.
