It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Dolphin of Cascade, Iowa, born in Monticello, Iowa, who passed away on June 1, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Dolphin and Mildred Dolphin (Supple); his siblings, Merlin Dolphin (Rosene), Robert "Monk" Dolphin, Donald (Dolphin), Mary Agnes Theisen (Leo) and Leona Schwarzmann; his brother-in-law John "Popper" Otting; his niece Teri Koerperich; and his nephew Marty Dolphin.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Dolphin of Cascade, IA; his children, Wes Dolphin (Lisa) of Dubuque, IA, Amy Topping (Ryan) of Cascade, IA and Lori Casey (Scott) of Cascade, IA; his grandchildren, Nick, Callie, Jake Dolphin, Lilly, Tanner Topping, Quinn, Spencer and Ethan Casey; and his siblings, Rosie Holmes of Cascade, IA, Bob Schwarzmann of McLean, VA, Gayle Dolphin of Cascade, Steve Otting (Cindy) of Cascade, Jeff Otting (Linda) of Cascade and Russ Otting (Kay) of Peosta, IA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
