She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Schlarmann and Margaret Schlarmann (Kramer); her husband Nicholas Beringer; her children, Gilbert "Gib" Beringer, Joyce Beringer and Elizabeth "Betty" Rausch; her granddaughter Kathy Ann Rausch; her siblings, Rita Schlarmann, Della Cameron, Marcella Bodine, Vera Elsner, Leonard Schlarmann, Raymond Schlarmann (Veronica), Clifford Schlarmann and Ambrose Schlarmann (Hattie); her parents-in-law, Joseph and Mary Beringer (Rauen); and her brothers, Odelia Boffeli (Pete), Victor Beringer (Anna), Arnold Beringer (Ione), Carl Beringer (Alvina), Bill Beringer (Imelda), Frederick Beringer, Emil Beringer and Tecie Lehman (Jim).
She is survived by: her daughters, Kate Leifker (Ron) of Greenville, TX and Bonnie Brimeyer (Steve) of Farley, IA; her children-in-law, Sue Ann Beringer of Dyersville, IA and Celester Rausch of Epworth, IA; her grandchildren, Chris Rausch, Jodi Simon (Rick), Dan Rausch, Janelle Spellerberg (Eric), Angie Millman (Norman), Melissa Beringer, Amanda Funke (Doug), Marty Leifker (Lynn), Nikki Leifker, Heidi Scarbrough (Brandon), Stephanie Kluesner (Brett), Craig Brimeyer (Cher), Josh Brimeyer (Sarah), Jenny Hornsby (Wendell) and Jason Brimeyer (Ashley); and her sister-in-law Juanita Schlarmann of LaMotte. She is also survived by 31 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Reiff Funeral Home (205 Hayes St SW, Cascade, IA 52033). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Martin's Catholic Church (408 3rd Ave NW, Cascade, IA 52033).
