It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Klostermann (Cascade, Iowa), who passed away on October 8, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Wall and Anna Wall (Kramer); her children, George Breitbach and Sonya Hess; her siblings, Lillian, Melvin and William Wall; and her stepchildren, Carl Klostermann and Mary Manders.
She is survived by: her former husband Melvin J. Breitbach; her husband Lawrence Klostermann; her children, Melvin J. "Bud" Breitbach of Monticello, Judy Harms (Galen) of Anamosa, Mary Hinderman (Lee) of Davenport, Charles Breitbach of Dubuque, Geraldine Gorman of Cedar Rapids and Geralyn Puccio of Cedar Rapids; her stepchildren, Lois Gavin (Dave) of Bernard, Leo Klostermann (Carol) of Dyersville, Jean Weber of Cascade, Jan Beaman of Cascade, Larry Klostermann (Linda) of Centerville and Gary Klostermann of Dubuque; her stepchildren-in-law, Darlene Klostermann of Earlville and Vince Manders of Dubuque; and her siblings, Laura Eiben of Monticello, Jannette Weets of Anamosa, Elsie Chapman of Monticello and Joe Coyle (Marie). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 36 step-grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 3 great- great grandchildren.
