He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfonso Schomer and Edna Schomer (Mickels); his wife Mary Hausner; and his mother-in-law Bette. He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer; his son-in-law Daniel Smith; his son Anthony Schomer; his daughter-in-law Erin; his siblings, Jerel Schomer (Mary), Joel Schomer (Chris), Peter Schomer (Carmen) and Mark Schomer (Mary Ellen); his granddaughters, Harper Melia Smith and Irelynn Rose Smith; and his father-in-law Emil Hausner.
