With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Lua Trede of Carson, Iowa, born in Lyons, Nebraska, who passed away on May 2, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lyle; her son Lonnie; her grandsons, Richard, Rodrick and Ryan Sternberg; and her sisters, Darlene Wulf Safley and Rhea Brummer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marlene Houser (Kent) of Wichita, KS, Marsha Sternberg (Rick) of Carson, Madolyn Frink (Jim) of Henderson, IA and Robin Trede; and her sister-in-law Ruthie Trede of Ralston, NE. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 1 great-great granddaughter.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorials are to the Macedonia United Methodist Church or Elm Crest Senior Living in Harlan.
