Janel Marie Allen Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2024, at the age of 79, Janel Marie Allen of Carson, Iowa, born in Council Bluffs, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bob Anderson and Lucille Anderson (Tiarks); her parents-in-law, Jack and Donnie Allen; her siblings-in-law, Randy Allen and Linda Johnson; her son-in-law John Harsch; and her great grandchild Parker Gil Copper.

She is survived by: her husband Larry Allen of Carson, IA; her children, Kim Frain (Darrell) of Carson, IA, Barb Masters (Todd) of Leon, IA, Becky Harsch of Lebo, KS, Sandy Smith (Brent) of Winterset, IA and Kevin Allen of Underwood, IA; and her sister-in-law Anna Allen of Macedonia, IA. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 10 plus great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Carson Community Building (316 S Commercial St, Carson, IA 51525). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
