He was predeceased by: his son Mike Rose; his siblings, Floyd Rose (Lela), Ernest Rose (Eleanor), Fay Rose (Nina), Delbert Rose (Beulah), Eugene Rose (Larene), Clarence Rose, Elizabeth Peterson, Barbara Jacobs and Laura Rose; and his siblings-in-law, Avery Ayers (Johnnie), Claude Ayers, Ted Ayers, Merle Ayers, Pat Ayers, Thelma Strong (Lester), Rosalie Jarrett (Bill) and Lynna Neighbors (James).
He is survived by: his son Michael Dennis; his wife Dixie Rose of Carson; his daughter RoxAnn Nilan (Jeffrey) of Oakland, IA; his grandchildren, Melissa Rose (Earl Schaffer), Nicole Shady (Travis), Frankie Knudsen (Michael) and Ryan Nilan (Paige); his great grandchildren, Jordan, Cody Schaffer, Hunter, Shady of Nevada, Mazie, Amelia Knudsen, Connor, Emmie, Eleanor and Baby Nilan; and his siblings-in-law, Sydney Rose of Carson, Norine Fornstrom of Omaha, NE, Kathy Schroder of Omaha, NE, Gloria South (Larry) of Council Bluffs, IA, Don Ayers of Council Bluffs and Victor Ayers of Carson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
