He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Douglas and Marilyn May Nailor (Christiansen); his son Derek Nailor; his grandson Kyle Leizer; and his sister Diane Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Laurel Nailor of Carson; his daughter Amy Downey (Dusty) of Lee's Summit, MO; his daughter-in-law Arran Nailor of Council Bluffs; his grandchildren, Lauren Crain (William), Devin Nailor, Mackenzie Nailor, Conlan Downey and Lauren Downey; and his sister Julie Walls of Battle Creek, IA.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Carson United Methodist Church (300 Washington St, Carson, IA 51525). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
