With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine Russell of Carson, Iowa, who passed away on February 1, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Catherine may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Russell and Shirley Russell (Davis); and her sister-in-law Margie Russell. She is survived by: her siblings, Larry Russell of Mancos, CO and Carol Curts (Rodney) of Carson, IA; her nieces, Erica and Rachel; and her nephew Kent.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Carson Community Center (316 S Commercial St, Carson, IA 51525).
