It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Zita Comes of Carroll, Iowa, born in Wahoo, Nebraska, who passed away on July 5, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Hrdlicka and Mary Hrdlicka (Zimola); her husband LaRoy "Roy" Comes; her son Robert Comes; and her siblings, Henry Hrdlicka, Bernard Hrdlicka, Joe Hrdlicka, Ethel Adams and Mary Pospical.

She is survived by: her children, Ronald Comes (Terry) of Omaha, Nebraska and Jeanne Wesely (Mike) of Pine City, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Stacey Holmes (Gregg), Michael Comes, Allison Brink (Paul), Lindsey Letcher, Lisa Johnson, Melissa Mulvaney (Dave) and Natalie Farrell (Michael); her stepgrandson Jake Paulsen (Jenna); and her siblings, Ruth Beranek, Sibyl Carr and Florian Hrdlicka (Linda). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
