It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Wiederin (Carroll, Iowa), who passed away on February 28, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Wiederin and Agnes Wiederin (Sturm); his son-in-law Mark Ruttenberg; his siblings, Irma Wiederin, Paul Wiederin, Duane Wiederin and Vernon Wiederin; and his brothers-in-law, Joe Dugan, Ed Schaeuble and Jessie Hall (Harold).
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Wiederin of Carroll; his children, Dean Wiederin of Shelburne, VT, Scott Wiederin (Donna) of Mt. Carmel, Jill Ruttenberg of Des Moines, Holly Boattenhamer (Greg) of Des Moines and Julie Beougher (Dan) of Maxwell; his grandchildren, Aubrey, Denver, Grant and Kaylyn Wiederin; and his siblings, Delores Schaben (Charles) of Harlan, Florence Dugan of Marshalltown, Jeannie Schaeuble of Des Moines, Jane Beidler (Don) of Carroll, Rita Uckelman (Bernie) of Carroll and Andy Wiederin (Rosie) of Tucson, AZ. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.
