We are sad to announce that on March 27, 2024, at the age of 99, Urban Knobbe of Carroll, Iowa, born in Breda, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Knobbe and Anna Wolterman; his former wife Patricia; his son Thomas James; his siblings, Vern, Elmo, Marian (Kirby), Adeline (Mohrhouser), Delores (Peterson) and Inez (Daiker); and his stepdaughter Julie (Randy).

He is survived by: his wife Jean Potthoff; his children, Michael (Carol), Patrick (Gloria), Joseph (Cheryl), William John, Christopher (Ann) and Kathy Hrubes (Jeff); his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Katie, Quinn, Jacob, Austen, Rasmus, Jackson, Ian, Michael, Thomas (TJ) and Joseph; his great grandchildren, Maichael-Urban, Josie, Ryan, Jack and JJ; and his sister Anna Mae.

In lieu of flowers, please consider at donation to St. Anthony Nursing Home, where Dad received wonderful care the last 3 months of his life.
