He is survived by: his daughter Tori Scharfenkamp (Brad Staley) of Carroll; his mother Karen Scharfenkamp (Rettenmaier) of Lidderdale; his wife Teri Pietig of Carroll; his son Tanner Scharfenkamp (Lauren Promes) of Carroll; his mother-in-law Patty Pietig of Carroll; his siblings, Lori Lloyd (Dirk) of Carroll, Jeff Scharfenkamp (Sue) of Carroll, Lisa Scharfenkamp (Randy Geneser) of Waukee and Jon Scharfenkamp of Lidderdale; his brother-in-law Tony Pietig (Julie) of Carroll; and his aunt Betty Rettenmaier of Lidderdale. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many good friends.
