She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wiederin and Theresa Wiederin (Kramer); her sisters, Iola Hoogestraat of Carroll and Lorraine Danner of Carroll; her husband Leo Wernimont; and her brothers, Linus, Floyd, Harold and Alfred Wiederin.

She is survived by: her brothers, Wilbur Wiederin (Agnes) of Lake City and Ralph Wiederin (Helen) of Carroll; and her sister-in-law Marylyn Gillespie of Lake City. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.
