She was predeceased by: her parents, Tony Heitman and Barbara Heitman (Reicher); her parents-in-law, Peter and Henrietta Auen; her sisters, Carol Macke (Leonard) and Ruth Dieter (Cy); and her daughter-in-law Jeanne Auen.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Auen of Carroll; her children, Stephen Auen of Missoula, MT and Thomas Auen (Beth); her grandchildren, Nick Beiter Jr. (Alicia) of Urbandale, Michael Beiter (Bridget) of Waukee, Jacob, Haley Auen, Josh (Sarah) and Jason Tack (Kristin) of Montana; her great grandchildren, Beckett, Hudson Beiter and Sawyer Tack; her sister Pat Larsen of Abilene, TX; and her brothers-in-law, Dennis Auen of Carroll and Mel Dorpinghaus of Maumelle, AR. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
