He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Bromert and Irma Bromert (Carstens); and his nephew Jason Bromert. He is survived by: his wife Kay Roberts; his grandchildren, Chase Bromert of Des Moines, Logan Bromert of Des Moines, Lily Bromert and Eleanor Bromert of Overland Park; his brother Tom (Linda) of Glendale; his niece Sara Bromert Price (Rob) of Arizona; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, J. T. and Casey.
