He is survived by: his wife Shirley Leiting of Carroll; his children, Debra Ervin (James) of Springfield, NE, Dale Leiting (Becky) of Plymouth, MI, Fay Coleman (Rob) of Spring, TX, Nancy Feinstein (Alan) of Broomfield, CO, Lon Leiting (Heather) of Carroll, IA, Terry Leiting (Tricia) of Crete, NE and Dan Leiting of Carroll, IA.; his grandchildren, Kevin, John Redig, Michelle Reinhardt (Sam), Emily Ervin, Stephanie Hoehn (Steven), Ann Katherine Bowman (Jermaine), Giffin Leiting (Hannah), Jay Coleman (Marissa), Christina Chiarello (Mark), Kay Darrow (Austin), Joe, Mary, Teresa Coleman, Nick Becker, Carolyn Martinez (Andrew), Laura Brewer (Justin), Rose Stoner (Austin), Kaitlyn, Ashlyn, Parker Leiting, Spencer and Conner Leiting; his sister Bernice; and his parents-in-law, Alvina Leiting, Alice Kramer, Rose Winker, Pat, Vern Berg and Virginia Shultes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Those attending the Funeral Mass are required to wear a face covering and abide by current social distancing guidelines.
