He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Hurt and Mary Hurt (Stevens); his brother-in-law Douglas Schneberger; and his nephew Dustin Schneberger. He is survived by: his wife Debra Reeves of Carroll; his children, Jerald Hurt (Carrie) of Carroll, Jessie Sarmiento (Carlos) of Lamar, Raymond and Charles Hurt (Lexy) of Carroll; and his siblings, Dorothy Hurt of Cedar Rapids, Didi Schneberger of Hancock and Karen Stock (Charles) of Sun City, AZ. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives and friends.
