He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Siemann and Vera Siemann (Jensen); his siblings, Laura and Chris; his brother-in-law Tom Frasor; his nephews, Kevin Frasor and David Lamb; and his siblings-in-law, Judge Ansel and Corinne Chapman.
He is survived by: his former wife Barbara Chapman; his children, Alexander and Molly; and his siblings, Greg (Carolyn) of Carroll, IA, Joan Frasor of Golden Beach, FL, Bill (Linda) of Loveland, CO, Diane Chojnowski (Burt) of Fairfield, IA, Jim (Lynne) of San Diego, CA, Mark (Sheila) of Salem, VA, Nick (Renely) of Kailua, HI, Jonathan of Phoenix, AZ and Fadjar (Kanti) of Houston, TX. He is also survived by 25 nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and many cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Judge Ansel Chapman Law Scholarship Fund at the University of Iowa Center for Advancement or to a charity of choice.
