Omer Langenfeld Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Omer Langenfeld of Carroll, Iowa, who passed away on December 21, 2021, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Casper Langenfeld and Anna Langenfeld (Petsche); his wife Grace Schulte; his stepmother Margaret; his son-in-law Pat Young; his great grandchildren, Zach Kach and Amanda Ficek; his siblings, Felix, Elmer, Marie, Lorene and Vincent; his stepsiblings, Albert, Louis Nagl and Florence Nagl Westendorf; and his half-sister Helen Langenfeld Meyers.
He is survived by: his children, Alan Langenfeld (Karen) of Cedar Rapids, Don Langenfeld (Holly) of Sagle, ID, Kathy Young of Rochester, MN, Mary Lou Klemmer (Dan) of Dublin, OH and Jean Galasso of Des Moines. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Community of Concern Food Bank in Carroll or a charity of your choice.
