He was predeceased by: his parents, Mervin Klaus and Amelia Klaus (Vonnahme); and his sister Annette Thompson. He is survived by: his brothers, John Klaus (Carolyn) of Ames, Paul Klaus (Janice) of Forest Lake, MN and Robert Klaus of Amana; his brother-in-law Dana Thompson of Ames; and his nieces and nephews, Renee, Frank, Steven, James, Sarah and Scott. He is also survived by his great nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
