She was predeceased by: her parents, August Spagnolo and Serena Spagnolo (Gentile); her former husband Gerald Kelley; her husband Richard "Dick" Rutten; and her son Matt Kelley.

She is survived by: her daughter Kathleen Shelton; her grandchildren, Lindsey Shelton, Luke Shelton, Serena Kelley and Mathew Kelley, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Parker Foley and Tai Ana Marie; and her stepchildren, Allan Rutten (Cindy), Dennis Rutten (Joan), James Rutten (Mary) and Lisa LaPenna (Philip). She is also survived by many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
