She was predeceased by: her spouse Gene Ruchti; her parents, Harry Bruggeman and Alma Bruggeman; her parents-in-law, Rudolph and Alvera Ruchti; and her siblings-in-law, Micky Ruchti and Duane Taphorn.
She is survived by: her grandsons, John Schaefer, Tony Ruchti, Tad Holm, Alger, Jordon Holm, Brandon Holm, Bobby Vogler and Noah Ruchti; her children, Jacque Alger (Tracy) of Lisbon, Dawnie Richard (Curt Carstens) of Carroll, Terry Ruchti (Zoe) of Carroll, Twyla Vogler (Robert) of Pearland and Joel Ruchti (Becky) of Johnston; and her sister Carolyn Taphorn of Carroll. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family has established a memorial fund in Mrs. Ruchti's name.
