She was predeceased by: her mother Anna Wittrock Eischeid; her former husband Elmer; her father Theodore; and her siblings, Lorine Sextro, Florence Gephart, Louise Boeckman, Irma Fast, Tillie Busenbark, Leonard, Hilbert, Ted Jr., Louis and Alvin.
She is survived by: her husband Theodore "Ted" Sr. Born; her children, Nancy Schreck of Okolona, MS, R. T. Schreck (Judy) of Carroll, Carol Schreck of Carroll, Greg Schreck (Judy) of Carroll, Joan Grossman (John) of Castle Rock, CO, Sharon Weiler (Tony) of Winterset, IA and Jim Schreck (Kim) of Iowa City, IA.; and her sister-in-law Irene Eischeid. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM. A wake was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Home (226 W 8th St, Carroll, IA 51401). A Mass was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (202 S 5th Ave, Templeton, IA 51463).
