She was predeceased by: her parents, James Murray and Thelma Murray (Kempf); her husband Forrest Dean Vermillion; and her brothers, Charles and Robert Murray.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Vermillion (Ben) of Iowa City, Kathy McCarthy (Greg) of Sioux City, Jim Vermillion of Lake City and Joe Vermillion of Carroll; her grandchildren, Megan (Court), Ryan, Abigail and Molly McCarthy; and her niece Janette Vermillion of Shenandoah. She is also survived by several loving nephews, cousins, friends, and caregivers.
