She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Kraus and Emma Kraus (Kennebeck); her husband James Owens; her son Cyril; her grandson-in-law Timothy Rowedder; and her siblings, Paul Kraus (Norma), Al Kraus (Irene), Dorothy Behrens (Harry), Merlin Kraus and Bob Kraus.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Rupiper (Bill) of Templeton and Tim Owens (Danette Tracy) of Winterset; her grandchildren, Brenda Rowedder, Nanci Jewell (Mark), Ryan Rupiper (Trish) and Tanner Owens; her stepgrandchildren, Bri Baker (Eddie) and Dusty Wood; her great grandchildren, Jameson and Reegan Rupiper; her stepgreat-granddaughters, Hazel and Nora Baker; and her sisters-in-law, Kathy Kraus of Carroll, Mary Lou Kraus of Anita and Mary Jane Schrunk (Ace) of Missouri Valley. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
