She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Sailer and Anna Sailer; her husband Merle Bernholtz; her son Denny Bernholtz; her daughter-in-law Sandy Bernholtz; and her brothers, Paul Sailer, Clarence Sailer, Leonard Sailer, Richard Sailer and Joseph Sailer.
She is survived by: her children, Kenny Bernholtz (Carmen) of Spirit Lake, Ron Bernholtz (Debb) of Carroll, Karen Frazee (Ron) of Urbandale, John Bernholtz (Mickey) of Denison, Dave Bernholtz (Becky) of Mitchellville and Chad Bernholtz (Cathy) of Kansas City; her sister Lillian Stork (Neil) of Atlantic; her sisters-in-law, Mary Sailer (Leonard) of Manning, Rosemary Wiederin (John) of Sargent Bluff, Elva Bernholtz (Lyle) of Carroll and Mary Bernholtz (Dale) of Carroll; and also, Amy VanDer Sluis, Dawn Harken, Nicole Romare, Tyler Frazee, Katie Rosenthal, Ryan Bernholtz, Marcy Covert, Julia Madsen, Carlyann Bernholtz, Hailey Bernholtz, Lucas Bernholtz, Jacob Bernholtz, Sailer Bernholtz, Karsten Bernholtz, Tayler McGreevy, Jacelyn Temaat and Corbin Bernholtz (Casket Bearers). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other extended relatives and many friends.
