It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lon Eugene Diers of Carroll, Iowa, born in Arcadia, Iowa, who passed away on December 19, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Art and Loretta; his parents-in-law, Bill and Rose Badding; his siblings, Inez Winker and Don; and his sister-in-law Kathy Bedford.
He is survived by: his children, Cullen and Calvin; his grandchildren, Jake Logan, Sidney Logan, Alex Diers, Kobe Diers, Luke Diers and Faith Diers; his wife Roselyn Badding of Carroll; his grandchildren, Elle Renault, Rachel Brown (Ty), Esther, Lucy, Emmanuel, Sarah and Grace Diers; his great grandchildren, Cullen and Calvin Brown; and his siblings-in-law, Ruth Diers, Mary Jo Berning, Dr. Janet Badding, Joni Badding, Mardy Badding, Surge Badding and Elmer Bedford.
Those in attendance at Lon's visitation and Mass are asked to abide by Covid – 19 guidelines and facemasks are required at the funeral home and at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to St. Anthony Hospice.
