She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Frank J. Halbig and Caroline Halbig (Trecker) of Carroll, Iowa.; her children, Chris Taft (Bill), Lou Ernst (Marilyn), Paul Ernst (Lori), Matt Ernst (Cathy), Tom Ernst (Stacy), Mary Murphy (Charlie), Monica Ernst and Fred Ernst (Linda); her grandchildren, David Bradbury (Katie Schoeneck), Caroline Koplowitz (Mike), Katrina Ernst, Al Ernst, Alisha Bowser (Marc), Erik Ernst (Ali Pereira), Brian Ernst, Lauren Rurik (David), Jake Ernst, Max Ernst (Maggie Cofer), Joe Ernst, Bobby Murphy (Rebecca Kumar), Sarah Murphy, Chris Schreiber, Claire Schreiber (Mariah Yagow), Addie Ernst and Liam Ernst; and her great grandchildren, Eleanor, Dean Koplowitz, Parker, Kennedy Bowser, Reed and Kai Rurik.
