He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie Niehaus; his children, Kyla Gehm of Johnston, IA and David Butler of Minneapolis, MN; his grandchildren, Molly Gehm of Des Moines and Austin Gehm (Dena); his great grandchild Luca; and his parents-in-law, Larry Gillis (Letha) of Ohio, Mary Niehaus of Storm Lake and Leota Ryan of North Carolina. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
