He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Sailer and Anna Sailer (Wanninger); his sons, Kreg Sailer and Kurt Sailer; his brothers, Clarence Sailer and Richard Sailer; and also, Herman and Colette Grote.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Sailer of Manning; his children, Kim (Scott Barnard) of Manning, Kris (Dave Weitl) of Pine, CO, Karla (Mike Hamann) of Calhoun, GA and Kevin Sailer (JoDee) of Templeton; his daughters-in-law, Jill Sailer and Kim Sailer of Grimes; his grandchildren, Tyler Barnard (Krystal), Noah Barnard, Haylee Barsby (Elliott), Hannah Scheuring (Matt), Zachary Weitl (Agata), Samantha Geist (Kevin), Charlie Hamann (Chelsea), Melanie Pruett (Adam), Sydney and Ryann Hamann; his great grandchildren, Everlee, Vincent, Elizabeth, Liam, Dominik, Owen, Ava and Emily; and his siblings, Paul Sailer of Coon Rapids, Loretta Bernholtz of Carroll and Lillian Stork of Anita. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
