He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Onken-Lawrence and Emmarita Tiefenthaler Onken-Lawrence; his brothers, Darrell "Doc" Onken and Myron Onken; his father-in-law Louis Hausman; and his brother-in-law George Halverson.
He is survived by: his son Ryan Christopher (Nichole) of Carroll, IA; his wife Susan Onken of Carroll, IA; his grandchildren, Kyle Emery of Cedar Rapids, IA, Molly Emery of Carroll, IA and Bently Onken of Carroll, IA; his brother Vern Onken of Arcadia, IA; his mother-in-law Vergene Hausman; and his siblings-in-law, Steve Hausman (Lisa) of Carroll, IA, John Hausman (Julie) of Halbur, IA, Brian Hausman (Jean) of Arcadia, IA., Kate Williams (Glenn) of Moline, IL, Barb Halverson of Scottsdale, AZ and Kathy Onken of Omaha, NE. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Those in attendance of Larry's services are required to wear a face covering and abide by social distancing practices.
