She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Hendrickson and Carol Hendrickson (Follmuth); her parents-in-law, Carl and Grace Runge; her brother Mark Hendrickson; her siblings-in-law, Terry Reaman and Cindy Hendrickson; her nephew Jeffrey Johnston; and her friends, Michael J Miller and Pat Janning.
She is survived by: her husband David of Carroll; her daughter Ingrid Long (Mike) of Carroll; her granddaughter Riley Long of Carroll; her sister Joanne Reaman of Webster City; and her siblings-in-law, Christine Johnston (Jeff) of Boardman, OH, Raymond Runge (Val) of Houston, TX and Thomas Runge of Struthers, OH. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In retirement, Karen fought hard to stave off the grip of Alzheimer's.
