She is survived by: her husband James Strautman; her daughters, Christine Schon (Jim) of Glidden, Julie Schroeder (Allan) and Dawn Helmkamp (Jeff) of Carroll; her grandchildren, Melanie Schopp (Aaron), Jacob Schroeder (Victoria Luna), Jennifer Schon, Steven Schon (Bridget), Lucas Schroeder (Theresa), Michael Schroeder (Traci Becker), Hollie Schechinger (Jordan), Elle Helmkamp and Dalton Helmkamp; her great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Hunter, Logan, Jordan, Mylah, Asher, Abbott, Madi, Brody and Annlyn; her siblings-in-law, Leah Duling and Pedro Hernandez; and her stepchildren, Janice Stoffel (Bill) of Dubuque, Mary Jo Jeffers of Chicago, James Strautman Jr. (Carol) of Carroll, John Strautman (Kate) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Patricia Strautman of Dubuque, Ellen Johnson (Larry) of Des Moines and Catherine Kaiser (Kenny) of Ankeny. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many other extended family members and good friends.
