He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Shymanski and Margaret Shymanski; his sister Peg Wiedemeier (Merle); his brothers-in-law, Doug Mack and Jack Swatzki; and his parents-in-law, Lee Mack and Fritzie Ellis (Howard).
He is survived by: his wife Joan Shymanski of Carroll; his children, Kathy Shymanski (Jim Vogele) of Portland, John Shymanski (Cindy) of Carroll and Amy Denny (Craig) of Council Bluffs; his grandchildren, Jeff Shymanski, Jake Denny and Adam Denny; his siblings, John Shymanski (Diane) of Omaha and Delores Swatzki of Thornton, CO; and his siblings-in-law, Lee Mack (Eleanor) of St. Louis, MO and Judy Mack of Laguna Beach, CA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and numerous friends.
