She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Nelson and Bernice Nelson (Olsen); her mother-in-law Pearl Savery; her brother Bill Nelson (Marilyn); and her parents-in-law, Maxine Gregerson (Dick), Nancy Butler (Harry), Arthur Savery (Lenora), La Donna Savery and Mari Savery.
She is survived by: her husband James Savery of Carroll; her children, Sue Scharfenkamp (Jeff) of Carroll and Jay Savery of Ft. Dodge; her grandchildren, Kate Fisher, Cale Scharfenkamp, Eli Scharfenkamp, Samantha Harvey (Jordan), Paige Savery and Cole Savery; her great grandchild Luka Galloway; and her brothers-in-law, George Savery (Donna) of Ft. Dodge and Rich Savery of Pella. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials for Animal Rescue and may be left with the funeral home.
