She was predeceased by: her parents, Rachael S. Thurber (Viers) and Thomas E. Thurber; and her former husbands, Keith I. Norris and Alan "Gus" Graettinger. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Meyer; her brother John Thurber (Margaret); her children, Karyn Leininger (Troy), Kimberly Venzon (Joseph "Jay"), Kyle Norris (Amee) and Kirt Norris (Amanda); her grandchildren, Madison (Kolton Roth), Kadin Norris (Lexi Chase), Megan, Elliot, Ethan Norris, Hannah and Chloe Venzon; her nephew Brandon Thurber (Kristen); her niece Amanda Stallings (Ryan); and her stepchildren, Durene (Joseph), Mark (Sherry), Brenda and Todd. She is also survived by nine step grandchildren, and 22 step great grandchildren as well as cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Janet Meyer Memorial Scholarship Fund for students pursuing a music interest after high school / post-secondary education.
