Irene Ida Foley Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 3, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Irene Ida Foley of Carroll, Iowa, born in Dedham, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Louie Uhlenkamp and Francis Uhlenkamp (Willenborg); her husband John "Jack" Foley; her siblings, Hank Uhlenkamp, Joe Uhlenkamp (Shirley) and Delores Brincks (Norbert); her nephew Tom Brincks; her parents-in-law, Sally and Ed Foley; and her sisters-in-law, Colene Beidler (Bill), Marilyn "Tots" Foley and Connie Foley.

She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Smith (Wayne) of Ankeny, Rick Foley (Cherie) of Carroll, Bob Foley (Georgia) of Omaha, Nebraska, Jacqui Scharfenkamp (Steve) of Lidderdale, Vicky Foley (Marty Rath) of Storm Lake, Cheryl Raverty (Scott) of Farmington, Minnesota and Tami Bernholtz (Mike) of Lincoln, Nebraska; and her brothers-in-law, Bernie Foley of California, Kenny Foley of Carroll and Malick Foley (Rosie) of Texas. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Those in attendance of Irene's services are required to wear a face covering and abide by social distancing guidelines.

Memorial donations may be made in honor of Irene to Kuemper Catholic Schools.
