Irene Brincks Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, John H. Behrens and Elizabeth Behrens (Sibbel); her husband Paul Brincks; her grandson Matthew Brincks; her siblings, Lawrence Behrens (Justine), Joe Behrens (Julitta), John A. Behrens (Beatrice), Mary Ausman (James) and Louise Behrens; and her siblings-in-law, Ed Brincks (Rita), Leo Brincks, Bernard Brincks, Marie Brincks, Lucille Vonnahme (Bert), Marian Brincks and Rita Venner (Albin).
She is survived by: her children, Diane Peterson (Michael) of Bennington, NE, Ron Brincks (Janet) of Carroll, Gary Brincks (Jean) of Carroll, Joleen Brincks of Independence and Brian Brincks (Suzanne) of Carroll; and her sister-in-law JoAnn Brincks of Carroll. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and other extended relatives.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM. A rosary was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Home (226 W 8th St, Carroll, IA 51401). A Mass was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Spirit Church – St. John (1607 N West St, Carroll, IA 51401).
Memorials may be left at the funeral home or the church for Kuemper Catholic Schools Foundation.
