He was predeceased by: his parent Louise Rose (Meyers); his parents-in-law, George and Helga Dreessen; and his sisters, Gladys Hans, Bernice Paxton (Lee) and Lorna Knute (Lester).
He is survived by: his children, Margie Martinez of Greeley, CO and Dale (Janea) of Carroll; his grandson Joseph Martinez (Maria) of Colorado; and his sister Louise Bruhn (Bill) of Manning. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Addington Place, The Carroll American Legion, or Gentiva Hospice.
