He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Brincks and Rita Brincks; his parents-in-law, John and Ruth Hinson; and his siblings, Mary Jane, Jerome and John.
He is survived by: his grandsons, Ethan Brincks and Sam Bates; his wife Jan Brincks of Carroll; his children, Rebecca Bates (Bob) of Albuquerque, Andrew Brincks (Ashley) of Carroll and Tim Brincks of Carroll; his siblings, Joan Trofka (Joe) of Fort Collins, Colorado, Dave Brincks (Mary Ann) of Carroll and Greg Brincks (Joyce) of Carroll; and his grandsons, Linkin Weitl, Keaton Brincks and Charlie Bates.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to St. Anthony Cancer Center and may be left with the funeral home or at the church.
