With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Glenn Allen Cale of Carroll, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 17, 2024 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Glenn Allen Cale to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren Cale and Lena Cale (Vanderloo); his parents-in-law, Carl and Florence Kolls; his sister Dorothy Persell; his brothers-in-law, Norbert Kirsch and Virgil Kolls; and his nephew Jeff Kirsch.
He is survived by: his wife Karla Cale of Carroll; his children, Kim Fields (Jim) of Carroll, Joey Cale (Monica) of Westside, Jill Bock (Damon) of Carroll and Kelly Tomka (Joe) of Carroll; his grandchildren, Heath Wright (Jennifer), Tara Sisson (Nick), Chance Wright, Maddison Bruggeman (Jake), Dawson Bock, Kylie Tomka and Jarett Tomka; his sister Mary Kirsch of Carroll; and his siblings-in-law, JoAnn Cale of Carroll and Tom Percell of Marysville, WA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Per Glenn's wishes, he has donated his body to the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE, and the family will hold a Celebration of Life Memorial Service on Sunday, September 22, 2024 from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. at the Swan Lake Conservation Center in Carroll.
