She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Steffes and Josephine Steffes (Haberl); her husband Lawrence Kokenge; her sons, Jerry Kokenge and Kenny Kokenge; her grandsons, Dave Siepker and Josh Tunning; and her siblings, Hilda Schroeder, Lucille Galloway (Bay), Irene Ertz (Leo), Elizabeth Wittrock (Florian), Lawrence Steffes (Darlene) and Norbert Steffes.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Graff (Bruce) of Henderson, Nevada, David Kokenge (Mary) of Eloy, Arizona, Joni Olson (Les) of Orlando, Florida, Connie Tunning (Dick) of Dedham, Iowa, Danny Kokenge (Laura) of Milford, Ohio, Deanna Fasbender (Riley) of Mesa, Arizona, Luwana Hass (Mike Ross) of Carroll, Iowa and Kristy Maasen (Brad) of Mt. Carmel, Iowa; her daughters-in-law, Gayle Kokenge of Carroll and Bobbie Kokenge of Carroll; her sisters, Bernice Irlmeier of Templeton and Coletta Wernimont (Tootie) of Fonda, Iowa; and her sister-in-law Dixie Steffes of New Hampton. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren.
