She was predeceased by: her parents, George Masching and Mary Masching (Goetzinger); her husband Norbert Bruening; her siblings, Mildred Morman (Clarence), Norb Masching (Velma) and Paul Masching; her brother-in-law Wilbert Klocke; her father-in-law John Bruening (Catherine); and her siblings-in-law, Vincent Bruening (Lillian) and Pauline Vonnahme (Frank).
She is survived by: her sons, Wayne Bruening (Jane) of Mt. Carmel and Neal Bruening of Carroll; her grandson Ross Bruening (Allie) of Omaha; her great grandchildren, Gus and Hank; her grandson Ryan Bruening (Sarah Billmeier); her great grandchildren, Landan, Linkin, Ameila and Avah; her granddaughter Chelsea Bruening of Denver, CO; her sister Louise Klocke of Carroll; and her sister-in-law Margie Masching of Hayfield, MN. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.
