She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank and Mary (Janning); her husband Lyle Bernholtz; her brothers, Art Lambertz (Alice), Leo Lambertz (Lois) and Joe Lambertz; and her brothers-in-law, Vern Lechtenberg, Virgil Christensen, Merle Bernholtz (Loretta), Dale Bernholtz and John Wiederin.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry Renze (Jerry), Jerry Bernholtz (Dianne), Cindy Bernholtz, Sandy Julich (Tom), Jim Bernholtz and Scott Bernholtz (Peggy); her sisters, Evelyn Bowser (Dan), Cathy Christiansen and Mary Lechtenberg; her sisters-in-law, Rosemary Wiederin, Mary Bernholtz and Barb Lambertz; and her friend Janean Haukap.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Lawrence Church – St. John (1607 N West St, Carroll, IA 51401). A Mass was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
