It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Elsie Hausman of Carroll, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 97, on March 16, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Matt Thelen and Philomena Thelen (Boes); her husband Robert Hausman of Bernard's Church; her daughter-in-law Colleen Hausman; her siblings, Merlin, Roger, Lenus, Delmar Thelen and Lois Vogt; and also Anne.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Hausman (Dorothy) of Hendersonville, Dan Hausman of Merritt Island, Florida, Vicki Keller of Carroll, Keith Hausman (Ruth) of Windsor Heights and Randy Hausman (Raylene) of Lake City; and her siblings, Myra Stangl of Carroll, Jan Overgaard of Hendersonville, Nancy Pudenz (Dave) of Auburn, Alan Thelen (Louella) of Carroll and Wayne Thelen (Sarah) of Marble Falls, Texas.. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sharp Funeral Home (226 W 8th St, Carroll, IA 51401). A prayer will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. John Paul II Parish – St. Lawrence.
Memorial contributions may be left at the funeral home or church for later designation.
