She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kisgen and Elizabeth Kisgen (Pille); her husband Roy Mahan; and her son Joe. She is survived by: her grandson Robert Mahan (Janet) of Ames; her daughter Becky Bowman (David) of Carroll; her daughter-in-law Dianne Mahan of Pilot Mound, IA; her grandchildren, Lindsay Radmann (Casey), Melissa Kranz (Todd), Allison Bugg (Kevin), Ashley Laubscher (Frans), Dayon Kjellberg (Brent) of Carroll, Andria Cossolotto (Matt) and Trent Bowman (Ellen); and her sisters, Jeanne Neu (Earl) and Mary Nichols of Sun City, AZ.. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
