She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold O'Brien and Erma O'Brien; her parents-in-law, Roy and Elsie Pettitt; her husband Delbert "Deb" Pettitt; and her son Bruce Pettitt.
She is survived by: her children, Erma O'Brien (Scheer), Sue Marquardt (Jeff) of Carroll and Todd Pettitt (Pam) of Carroll; her grandchildren, Tricia, Ben, April, Tiff, Nate, Brandy, Wade, Kirby, Kristen, Sara, Jill, Jace, Josie, Gabe and Grace; her great grandchildren, Cameron, Kiara, Zach, Hannah, Caleb, Allison, Calvin, Camille, Emma, Tate, Corbin, Rebecca, Hayden, Dominic, Cambria, Brooklyn, Isaac, Roman, Addisyn, Mallory, Matthew, Blaire and Adryan; her brothers, Denny O'Brien (Shirley) of Warsaw, MO and Doug O'Brien of Omaha, NE; and her sister-in-law Arlein Anderson (Orville) of Hoskins, NE. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, per Eileen's wishes, memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church and may be left with the funeral home or at the church.
