He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Nieland and Helen Nieland (Sander); his brother Larry Nieland; his sister-in-law Connie Nieland; his nieces, Julie Tigges, Bornong and Jill White; and his nephew Steve Nieland.
He is survived by: his siblings, Gene Nieland (Becky) of Breda, Ruth Tigges (Leon) of Carroll and Lois Cousseau (Peter) of New York City. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
